The Ksport Procomp Front Big Brake Kit provides a sophisticated bolt-on brake upgrade for the BMW E39 5-Series, enhancing stopping power significantly, especially under sustained high-heat conditions. Key components include lightweight, forged one-piece aluminum calipers with aluminum pistons for better heat resistance and opposed-piston design for consistent pad wear. The calipers are equipped with high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The center sections are crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum to act as effective heat sinks and reduce rotational mass. The standard kit includes two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), one set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware. The system is designed to work with OEM handbrakes and is compatible with various BMW E39 models including the 525i, 528i, 530i, and 540i. The product comes with a 12-month warranty covering manufacturer defects. Customization options are available, including a choice of rotor style, caliper color (with potential additional charges for certain finishes like Lightning Silver, High Silver Polish, High Gold Polish, Titanium, Glassy Green, Glassy Blue, Glassy Orange, Glassy Red, Glassy Black, or Hard Anodized Black), and brake pad type (Street or Race).
