The Ksport Procomp 8 Piston Big Brake Kit is engineered to significantly upgrade your Lexus GS300, GS400, or GS430's braking performance, especially under demanding high-heat conditions. The calipers are a key feature, constructed from a one-piece billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and excellent corrosion resistance. They house aluminum pistons that offer superior heat resistance compared to standard materials, maintaining uncompromised operation. The opposed piston design of the 8-piston calipers (standard on 13" and 14" systems) enhances pad wear and rigidity over OEM designs. These kits utilize CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure a direct fit to the OEM caliper bracket location. It comes standard with SC5 NAOC Ceramic pads, which provide optimal braking for street and occasional track use, while reducing brake dust by over 50% and minimizing noise and rotor wear. The optimal operating temperature range for these pads is between 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are included, which prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Customization options are available for caliper colors, including standard finishes like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, with upgrades to premium high-polish finishes such as Silver, Gold, and Titanium, as well as Glassy/Hard Anodized Colors. You can also opt for Cross Drilled rotors, recommended for daily drivers due to their cooler running temperatures, while Slotted rotors are recommended for track-focused vehicles.
