This kit surpasses the Procomp system with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, enhanced piston count, and standard full-floating rotors that promote better caliper self-centering. Each caliper is precision-machined from a solid billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional lightweight strength and superior corrosion resistance. The calipers are equipped with aluminum pistons, which offer improved heat dissipation and reliable performance under demanding conditions. Key features of the Supercomp kit include one-piece forged aluminum calipers, CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct OEM location fitment, and floating two-piece rotor designs for reduced drag and improved performance through even application. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking for street use and occasional track days with reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear. DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, which minimize line expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use. The Supercomp kit includes NAOC Ceramic pads, designed for street and occasional track use, reducing brake dust by over 50% and minimizing noise and rotor wear. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks.
