Description

The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit is a sophisticated rear brake upgrade specifically designed for the 1998-2002 Saab 9-5. It integrates advanced brake technology that effectively reduces brake fade and ensures the brake pad surface remains cooled and refreshed during demanding use. The Procomp kit features a lightweight, one-piece caliper machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. This caliper utilizes a differential bore configuration, opposed-piston design for improved pad wear and caliper rigidity, and aluminum pistons for corrosion resistance and lighter weight. The kit includes stainless steel brake lines that resist expansion under pressure, leading to a firmer pedal feel. It utilizes a 2-piece disc assembly with an aluminum center to reduce rotational and unsprung weight, and features unique slotted rotors that minimize braking noise while efficiently expelling gases and pad debris. This kit includes 4-piston calipers and 14-inch slotted rotors, with an orange caliper color finish.
