Description

The Ksport Procomp Rear Big Brake Kit (BKVW361-443CO) is engineered to deliver superior stopping power for the Volkswagen MK7 Golf TDI. The calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, featuring a one-piece forged design that eliminates weak spots and ensures unparalleled strength and corrosion resistance. Aluminum pistons are utilized for better heat resistance, and the opposed-piston design ensures consistent brake pad grip and wear. Standard on these calipers are high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum center sections contribute to lower rotational mass, improving brake response. The two-piece design also reduces the likelihood of rotor warping due to heat expansion. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers as they run cooler than slotted rotors, while slotted rotors are recommended for track use to provide increased bite and gas/dust expulsion.
