The Ksport Procomp Rear Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for the Volkswagen MK5 R32 (3.2L AWD). The kit features lightweight, forged one-piece calipers constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum. These calipers have an opposed-piston design for consistent brake pad grip and wear, and are equipped with high-temperature seals and aluminum pistons for better heat resistance and corrosion-free operation. These rotors feature a cross-drilled design, recommended for daily driving as they help run cooler. Standard components included in this kit are the calipers, rotors, SC5 street performance brake pads, and D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which offer improved pedal response and feel over stock rubber lines. The kit also includes CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper bracket location. Customization options are available, including a choice of caliper colors, upgraded brake pads (RCI Race Pads), and center bell upgrades (Titanium or Twin Color Anodized). This product is made to order and is non-refundable. The standard kit comes with SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance under street and occasional track conditions, with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions, but these are not recommended for street use due to their high optimal operating temperature.
