This kit features 356mm (14-inch) slotted, vented, 2-piece rotors and robust 4-piston calipers finished in a striking orange. The calipers are precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-free construction. Aluminum caliper pistons enhance heat resistance and promote smoother operation. The 2-piece rotor design, featuring an aluminum center, reduces rotational mass for quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances, while also minimizing the chance of rotor warpage. For optimal performance, slotted rotors are recommended for track use as their grooves help dissipate heat, dust, and gases. The kit includes Street pads, suitable for everyday driving with a low-dust ceramic compound. This ProComp Big Brake Kit requires a minimum wheel diameter of 457mm (18 inches) and is specifically designed for the 2009-2013 Volkswagen Golf GTI models.
