Description

The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit is engineered as a sophisticated bolt-on brake upgrade to significantly enhance stopping power, particularly under sustained high-heat conditions. This rear kit for the Toyota MR2 (1991-1995) features a 2-piston caliper design for improved pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM. Constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, the calipers are lightweight yet strong, with aluminum pistons and high-temperature seals. The kit utilizes two-piece, 304mm (12-inch) rotors, available in either cross-drilled for cooler operation on daily driven vehicles or slotted for enhanced track performance. Included are SC5 street brake pads, designed for a balance of performance, reduced dust, and noise, along with D.O.T. compliant stainless steel braided brake lines that offer a firmer pedal response by eliminating line expansion under pressure. All Ksport Big Brake kits include CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure proper fitment at the OEM caliper bracket location. The standard kit comes complete with all required mounting components and hardware, along with an owner's manual. Please note that Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with an estimated production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. Additionally, a warning regarding potential cancer and reproductive harm, as per California Proposition 65, is applicable to this product.
