The Ksport Procomp Rear Big Brake Kit (BKVW360-443CO) is engineered to deliver superior stopping power for the Volkswagen MK7 Golf (2015-2018). This sophisticated bolt-on upgrade enhances brake performance during sustained high-heat conditions, providing a significant improvement over stock braking systems. Constructed from forged, one-piece, aerospace-quality aluminum, the calipers are exceptionally lightweight and strong, eliminating weak spots that can lead to failure. The calipers feature an opposed-piston design for consistent pad wear and grip, and are equipped with aluminum pistons for better heat resistance and corrosion-free operation. High-temperature seals, titanium retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates are also standard. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles as they run cooler than slotted rotors, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. The kit also comes with D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which reduce pedal expansion under pressure for quicker response and a firmer pedal feel. SC5 Street Pads are included as standard, offering optimal performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise.
