This kit features robust, 1-piece billet aircraft-grade aluminum calipers, renowned for their lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. The calipers incorporate aluminum pistons to enhance heat resistance and ensure consistent operation. Two-piece rotors are included, providing a combination of light weight, fade-free performance on the track, and comfortable everyday usability. The kit also includes D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which improve pedal response and feel by eliminating line expansion under pressure. Ksport offers customization options for the calipers, which come standard in colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow. Premium finishes such as Silver, Gold, Titanium, and Glassy/Hard Anodized Colors are available, along with over 20,000 custom color finishes. For the rotors, customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled options. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler running temperatures, while slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles frequently used on the track. It includes CNC machined Carbon Steel caliper brackets to adapt the larger calipers to the OEM mounting locations. The kit comes standard with SC5 Street Pads, featuring NAOC Ceramic compound for optimal street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads), noise, and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range between 194°F - 1022°F. Fitment is specified for Volkswagen Jetta MK5 models from 2005-2010, specifically for FWD 2-piece OE caliper models only.
