The Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide the ultimate in stopping power for your 1991-1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT Spyder VR-4 T AWD. This advanced brake system utilizes new technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pad surface during braking, ensuring consistent performance. The SuperComp caliper is a true highlight, machined from aircraft quality billet and weighing just over 5 lbs each. It features a differential bore configuration, protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. Its opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM components, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This kit includes 2-piece floating disc assemblies, which reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing rotor warping or cupping. The unique rotor slot design effectively reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. For enhanced performance, all rotors are heat-treated and balanced before shipment. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles prioritizing track use over daily driving.
