The ACDelco 252-700 is a professional, premium aftermarket engine water pump engineered to circulate coolant through your vehicle's radiator and engine system, ensuring optimal engine temperature and performance. This water pump is constructed with an aluminum housing and features a 6-vane impeller. Included with this water pump are gaskets, seals, and O-rings, which help guarantee that all necessary parts are available for a trouble-free installation. The ACDelco 252-700 is built with coated seals to support longevity and durability, and features heat-treated shaft assemblies for superior strength. Proper installation is crucial for the longevity of the water pump and the cooling system. Before installing the ACDelco 252-700, it is recommended to completely drain and flush the cooling system to prevent contamination. It is also advised to clean all sealing surfaces and ensure old gasket material is removed. After installation, the system should be pressure-tested for leaks, and fan blade clearance should be checked. The water pump itself has a weep hole where slight seepage may be normal during a short break-in period. This engine water pump is compatible with various Chevrolet, Cadillac, and Buick Commercial Chassis, as well as Chevrolet Impala, Chevrolet Caprice, and Buick Roadmaster models from specific years. Specific fitment details should be verified for your exact vehicle application. Please note that this water pump does not include mounting bolts, plugs, pulleys, or a fan clutch.
