The ACDelco 41-125 is a GM Original Equipment Iridium Spark Plug, engineered and tested to rigorous standards. It serves as an exact replacement for original vehicle components, utilizing the latest in spark plug technology. The iridium material provides a high melting point and superior strength, which translates to excellent wear resistance and long-term durability. Drivers can expect enhanced engine idle stability, reliable cold starts, quicker acceleration, and smoother overall performance. The fine-wire electrode design also aids in burning away carbon deposits on the tip, further contributing to longevity and consistent operation. Each spark plug features a one-piece suppressor seal that blocks radio frequencies and meters spark energy for extended electrode life while preventing combustion leakage. ACDelco states that their Professional Iridium Spark Plugs are pre-gapped during manufacturing. It is strongly advised to never attempt to gap these spark plugs, as doing so could cause damage. If a spark plug is found to be incorrectly gapped, it should be replaced with a correctly gapped unit. The spark plug has a M14-1.25 thread size, a 25mm thread reach, a 16mm hex size, and a conical seat type.
