The Advanced Fuel Dynamics ProFlex Commander is an adaptive flex fuel system for the BMW E46 M3. It allows seamless switching between E85, gasoline, or any blend without needing to tune or switch maps. This system provides improved injector management and is dyno-proven to deliver 7-10% more wheel horsepower and torque on E85.

It features patented BlendSense™ technology with a 30-millisecond refresh rate for real-time adjustments. The system also improves fuel atomization for easier cold starts.

The Advanced Fuel Dynamics ProFlex Commander adaptive flex fuel system is designed for the BMW E46 M3 (S54 engine). This full bolt-on performance system allows drivers to seamlessly switch between E85, gasoline, or any blend without requiring tuning or map changes. Customers can expect dyno-proven gains of 7-10% more wheel horsepower and torque when running E85. Key features of the ProFlex Commander include its patented BlendSense™ technology, which offers real-time adjustments with a 30-millisecond refresh rate, and true flex-fuel capability, enabling instant switching between fuel types. The system also provides improved injector management for enhanced power output on both gas and E85. Additional benefits highlighted by the manufacturer include cleaner emissions, cooler cylinder, oil, and coolant temperatures, and the ability to use high-octane, lower-cost race-grade fuel readily available at the pump. The system is compatible with existing stock or performance gas tunes and will instantly adapt to any new tunes applied. For supercharged vehicles, it is noted that fuel pump and/or injector upgrades might be necessary for running full E85, and dyno testing or logging is recommended to ensure safe engine operation with specific fuel blends. The system is supported by a limited 12-month warranty. The ProFlex Connect app is available for iOS and Android devices, providing real-time ethanol content percentage via Bluetooth.
