ProFlex Commander Flex Fuel System

The Advanced Fuel Dynamics ProFlex Commander is a plug-and-play flex fuel system engineered specifically for the 2011-2014 Ford Mustang GT500 equipped with the 5.8L V8 engine. This advanced system enables your vehicle to run on E85 fuel, which can lead to increased horsepower and torque, as well as cooler engine operating temperatures. The system features patented BlendSense™ technology for real-time fuel mixture adjustments and improved injector management. This ProFlex Commander offers significant benefits, including 7-10% more wheel horsepower and torque on E85, as confirmed by dyno testing. It also contributes to cleaner emissions and cooler cylinder, oil, and coolant temperatures. The system provides race-grade fuel performance at the pump with high octane and lower cost, and is compatible with various power adders and bolt-on modifications. Additionally, the ProFlex Connect app provides real-time ethanol content monitoring via Bluetooth on iOS and Android devices. Cold Start Plus™ technology enhances fuel atomization for easier cold-weather starting, and the system effectively resolves fuel management latency issues often found in stock ECUs. It is important to note that the 2011-2014 Mustang GT500 requires upgraded injectors to safely run full E85. For vehicles making less than 700 crank horsepower, the Standard GM/Continental Flex Fuel Sensor is recommended, with a maximum recommended flow of 600 LPH. For those with higher horsepower goals or modified fuel systems, the AFD Billet E-Sense Flex Fuel Sensor is advised. The Standard Commander is ideal for stock or lightly modified vehicles without upgraded injectors or forced induction. For vehicles with aftermarket forced induction or larger fuel injectors (600cc / 60 lb/hr or bigger), the Commander Pro system is recommended for more precise injector management.
