ProFlow Cold Air Intake

The Steeda ProFlow Mustang Cold Air Intake is engineered to optimize airflow for the 2011-2014 Ford Mustang GT equipped with a 5.0L engine and a manual transmission. Developed using CAD data from Ford, this high-performance intake system effectively opens up the engine's breathing capabilities, leading to enhanced performance. Key features include the retention of factory cold air feed ducting from the front bumper and a sealed stainless steel shield to the hood, preventing hot air intake and ensuring the densest possible air charge. A billet aluminum velocity stack and high-flow air filter contribute to a streamlined and cool air delivery to the engine. The ProFlow intake tube is designed with necessary ports to maintain the factory noise tube and PCV connections. This cold air intake requires a performance tune for maximum gains and is a mandatory requirement for optimal operation. Steeda has partnered with SCT Performance, and combined with a custom tune using an SCT X3 Flash programming device, dramatic power increases of up to 44 horsepower and 52 ft-lbs of torque have been achieved. These gains are distributed throughout the entire RPM range, providing increased performance on demand. It is specifically for the 2011-2014 5.0L Mustang GT models with manual transmissions only.
