The BD Diesel 1071217X Proforce 3D Torque Converter is engineered for enhanced stall performance, making it ideal for street and towing applications. The trapezoid teeth design offers increased contact and reduced wear, while tighter tolerances and new thrust bearings contribute to smoother operation and durability. This converter maximizes torque with its cast stator design and ensures long-term reliability through new sprag components and furnace-brazed turbine fins for efficient fluid coupling. It also offers a significant weight reduction of 12 lbs compared to competitors, contributing to overall vehicle performance. The riveted piston design enhances alignment and prevents vibration issues common with welded components. Installation is estimated to take 7 hours. BD Diesel backs this torque converter with a 36-month/150,000-mile parts warranty and a 12-month/12,000-mile labor warranty, though race abuse is not covered. A billet input shaft is recommended for optimal performance with this torque converter. This product is legal for sale and use in all 50 states and does not require an EO in California. It is specifically designed for 1994-2007 Dodge RAM 2500/3500 models equipped with the 5.9L Cummins engine and 47RH, 47RE, or 48RE transmissions.
