Description

Unlike many competitors that use a linear spring rate, Ksport employs a progressive rate design. This innovation allows for a plush and comfortable ride during everyday driving, but as the suspension compresses under load, the spring rate increases. This effectively combats body roll during aggressive maneuvers such as heavy braking, hard acceleration, and high-speed cornering. Constructed from high-tensile chrome silicone wire, these springs are cold wound for maximum strength and durability. They undergo a shot-peening process to enhance stress relief and longevity. The result is a significant lowering of the vehicle's center of gravity from the factory height, which dramatically improves overall performance and handling dynamics. The springs are designed to provide a drop of 2.5 inches in the front and 2.25 inches in the rear. These Ksport GT lowering springs are specifically designed for the 1988-1991 Honda Civic and CR-X models (chassis code EF). They are sold as a set.
