The Next Gen Drivetrain Project Carbon valve body upgrade kit is designed to resolve reliability issues and performance degradation in Ford 10R60, 10R80, and 10R90 transmissions. It features precision-engineered, O-ringed billet steel latch and lube regulator valves, as well as a hardened, laser-cut steel separator plate that replaces the failure-prone factory paper-bonded plate. The included LPC Accumulator Delete Kit removes the weak factory accumulator circuit to provide more predictable line pressure and reduced clutch slippage. This kit is not compatible with the Ford 10R140 transmission; for those models, the 10R140-VBUK version must be used instead. The installation is rated at a difficulty level of 3 out of 10 and is designed for at-home completion using basic tools without the need for machining. All required hardware, including O-rings, solenoid stabilizers, and recalibration springs for valves A, B, E, and F, is included to facilitate a complete hydraulic system refresh. By replacing the factory components, this kit helps prevent issues like slamming gears, shift flare, overheating, and various P0700 or P2700 series fault codes. The design increases lubrication flow to critical internal components while providing a more robust, screenless architecture that prevents internal debris buildup and solenoid seizure.
