The Godspeed Project MMX2200-AWD MAXX Coilovers offer a track-oriented setup with daily commute comfort for the 2006-2013 BMW 3 Series AWD (E90/E91/E92/E93). These coilovers provide 40 precise levels of damping adjustment, allowing for easy tuning from stiff to soft to suit various driving conditions and preferences. The system utilizes a mono-tube shock design within a large-capacity 52mm JIS seamless carbon steel shock body, filled with Italian IP F.A. 5W damper oil. The 44mm internal pistons are engineered for competitiveness on the track and spirited daily driving. Ride height is adjusted via lower brackets, preserving maximum shock travel for a more comfortable ride compared to lowering springs alone. Constructed with cold-wound springs made from high-tensile SAE9252 steel, these coilovers ensure durability. They feature independent ride height and spring tension adjustments, and include front pillow ball camber plates while reusing the factory rear top mounts. The use of billet aluminum hardware contributes to a lighter overall system weight without compromising durability. All parts are replaceable, and the shock absorbers can be rebuilt or replacement cartridges purchased, offering a cost-effective solution for long-term maintenance. Installation requires proper tightening of all hardware and setting spring preload to 5-10mm (1/4-3/8in). Professional installation is highly recommended.
