It is recommended for applications where the vehicle's stock headlight wiring cannot support the power demands of an HID kit, particularly if lights flicker or turn off. The harness requires grounding in two places to the chassis.

The Dapper Lighting Projector Kit Relay Harnesses - 575 is specifically engineered for use with 575 Dapper Lighting Projectors, enabling all four headlamps to operate concurrently. This kit includes two relays and two harnesses. It is an essential upgrade for vehicles experiencing issues like flickering or intermittent shut-off of HID lights, which indicate the stock wiring is insufficient for the increased power requirements. For optimal performance with 55W HID kits, using a relay kit is strongly advised. Installation requires grounding the harness in two separate locations on the vehicle's chassis. For vehicles equipped with computerized systems that monitor for blown bulbs, additional Warning Cancellers may be necessary alongside this relay kit to prevent dashboard warnings.
