Designed as a sophisticated, bolt-on system, it requires no vehicle modifications for installation, offering a straightforward enhancement to your braking performance. This extreme brake upgrade surpasses the Procomp kit with its larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, and an increased number of pistons. The calipers are meticulously crafted from a single billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. Inside, aluminum pistons contribute to superior heat management and reliable operation. Supporting these calipers are CNC-machined Carbon Steel brackets that allow for direct bolt-on installation to the factory mounting points. The kit features a floating two-piece rotor design, allowing the outer section to adjust for better caliper self-centering. This reduces brake drag and enhances braking performance through more consistent application. Standard on all Supercomp systems, this design absorbs thermal stress to prevent disc warp. You can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors: cross-drilled options run cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. Included are NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, optimized for street driving and occasional track sessions. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust (50% or more compared to race pads) and minimize noise and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, preventing hose expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel.
