Description

The Prothane 22-505-BL is a black polyurethane engine mount insert designed to fill the voids in OE motor mounts. Crafted from durable polyurethane, this material is more resistant to intense weight, heat, and pressure than rubber.

By filling the voids in the factory motor mounts, this insert aims to drastically increase power transfer efficiency from the engine to the wheels. While OE mounts use voids to reduce NVH, filling them may increase NVH but offers a performance boost comparable to solid motor mounts at a lower cost.
