The CPP Protouring Kit - Stage 1 offers a comprehensive suspension upgrade for 1963-1970 Chevy C10 trucks, engineered to transform classic truck handling into a modern sports machine. This Stage 1 kit includes essential components such as tubular upper and lower front control arms, tubular trailing arms, and a trailing arm drop crossmember, all designed for maximum strength and visual appeal with in-house welding. Customers can customize their kit by selecting from various front and rear spring and shock drop options, allowing for a personalized ride height and performance. The package also includes substantial front and rear sway bars: a 1-1/4 inch front sway bar and a 1-1/8 inch rear sway bar, significantly improving cornering stability and reducing body roll. The kit features patented D-Spec heat-resistant bushings, which are self-lubricating and rated for temperatures up to 400°F, ensuring long-term durability and consistent performance. This kit is specifically designed for 1963-1970 Chevy C10 trucks, with tubular trailing arms compatible with 1960-1972 Chevy 1/2 Ton Trucks (C10), and the upper and lower control arms designed for 1963-1970 Chevy 1/2 Ton Trucks with 63-70 ball joints. The front sway bar is also compatible with 1963-1987 Chevy 1/2 Ton Trucks.
