ProXS Stainless Steel Oval Muffler

The Borla 40658 ProXS is a universal muffler engineered for street performance, offering a free-flow design for improved efficiency. The all-welded construction further enhances its strength. This muffler is designed with a compact, oval body (14" x 7.88" x 4.25") and a 19" overall length, making it suitable for applications with limited space. Its reversible design provides flexibility during installation, and it features un-notched necks intended for weld-in applications, though wide, two-bolt band clamps can be used for clamping. The ProXS muffler utilizes high-temperature continuous-filament fiber (CFF) acoustic material to manage sound, aiming for a street-commanding sound profile that is described as tame yet exotic, deep, and free of drone. It is not intended for off-road use only, and it comes with a Million Mile Warranty. The natural mill finish can be customized through brushing or polishing prior to installation. While the exact vehicle fitment is universal, its specific inlet and outlet dimensions (2.25" center inlet, 2.25" offset outlet) are critical for custom exhaust setups.
