Description

The factory power take off unit (PTU) on certain Ford and Lincoln vehicles often fails when extreme temperatures overheat the internal lubricant. This patented, 100-percent newly manufactured Dorman OE FIX™ PTU has been redesigned for greater resilience during thermal extremes, and features an added heatshield to reduce internal temperatures as well as a drain plug to allow easy replacement of the gearbox lubricant. Upgraded seals also help prevent premature degradation in extreme cold temperatures, providing an all-around more reliable replacement.
