pTR Intake Manifold

The Performance Design Carbon pTR Intake Manifold is a flexible and powerful tunnel ram intake engineered for Gen 5 LT cylinder heads, including LT1, L83 (with LT1 throttle body), and L86 applications. It is constructed from a combination of high-strength carbon fiber for the plenum and glass-filled nylon for the lower runner pack, offering a significant weight savings of 10 lbs over comparable aluminum manifolds. This design also provides excellent heat resistance, reducing heat soak to the air charge. The manifold's key feature is its modular velocity stack system, allowing for configurable runner lengths of 6.5”, 8.0”, and 9.0”. This adjustability enables users to optimize the engine's power curve by tuning runner length to match the camshaft, cylinder head, and exhaust combination, supporting high RPM drag applications with shorter runners or improved mid-range torque with longer runners. The plenum is built with high-temp epoxy for enhanced strength and a better strength-to-weight ratio. It features two MAP sensor locations, multiple NPT ports for brake boosters or IAT sensors, and mounting provisions for the canister purge solenoid and PCV systems. The throttle body flange is a 105mm forward-facing design compatible with 90-105mm throttle bodies, and the intake can be reversed on the engine. Nitrous nozzle bosses are also included on each runner. The manifold is tested to withstand over 50psi of boost. Important fitment considerations: This manifold does not fit underhood on late model vehicles and is best suited for resto-mod projects, off-road race trucks, race boats, and hot rods. It will not fit with the stock hood on some applications, such as the 6th Gen Camaro.
