The ZZPerformance Modular Pulley serves as a direct replacement for the ZZP Modular Pulley System (MPS). This system replaces the stock supercharger pulley with a stainless steel hub, onto which various pulleys can be bolted. The modular design facilitates easy pulley swaps using an Allen wrench, allowing users to adapt their supercharger's performance to different driving conditions. For instance, a smaller pulley can be utilized for track days or when running higher octane fuel, while a different pulley might be preferred for general street use. Our pulleys feature 8 ribs, but a 6-rib belt will still function correctly. The recommended bolt torque specification for installation is 72 inch-pounds. The ZZP MPS is highly recommended for individuals planning future modifications to their vehicle. Specific pulley sizes are recommended based on fuel octane and vehicle modifications: * **3.6" Pulley:** Recommended for '04+ Grand Prix supercharged, '00+ SSEi/Ultra, and '04+ Monte Carlo/Impala SS models equipped with a ZZP PCM, Cold Air Intake (CAI), cooler spark plugs/thermostat, and a bolt-in downpipe. * **3.5" Pulley:** For '01-03 GTP/GS models with ZZP PCM, CAI, cooler plugs/thermostat, and bolt-in downpipe. Also for '04+ Grand Prix supercharged, '00+ SSEi/Ultra, '04+ Monte Carlo/Impala SS with 1.9 rockers, ZZP PCM, CAI, cooler plugs/thermostat, and exhaust work. * **3.4" Pulley:** Suitable for '97-00 GTP/GS with ZZP PCM, CAI, cooler plugs/thermostat, and bolt-in downpipe. Also for '01-03 GTP/GS with 1.9 rockers, ZZP PCM, CAI, cooler plugs/thermostat, and bolt-in downpipe. * **3.3" Pulley:** For '97-00 GTP/GS with 1.9 rockers, ZZP PCM, CAI, cooler plugs/thermostat, and bolt-in downpipe. Also for '01-03 GTP/GS with VS/XP cam, ZZP PCM, CAI, cooler plugs/thermostat, and bolt-in downpipe. * **3.2" Pulley:** Recommended for '97-03 GTP/GS with an SS intercooler, ZZP PCM, CAI, cooler plugs/thermostat, and bolt-in downpipe. * **3.0" Pulley:** This size requires larger fuel injectors and either a full-size intercooler or an SS intercooler, along with a cam or rocker setup. Attempting to go two sizes smaller than stock without a tune can lead to hitting the factory boost limiter, causing overboost codes and potentially putting the vehicle into limp mode. A tune is often necessary for optimal performance and to avoid issues when using smaller pulleys.
