PUMP 1/2 ENGINE COOLING

The Jabsco 1673-2001 is a flexible impeller pump designed for self-priming, capable of lifting up to 10 feet (3m) dry and up to 25 feet (8m) when wetted. It has bronze bodies and stainless steel shafts, making it suitable for marine environments. The pump features replaceable cams and wearplates for extended life and uses a single, tough, flexible impeller lubricated by the liquid being pumped. It avoids metal-to-metal pumping action, preventing jamming, clogging, or noise. This pump combines the priming ability of positive displacement pumps with the general transfer capability of centrifugals. It can pump thin or viscous liquids and handle more suspended solids than other rotary pump types. It operates at low or high speeds, can be mounted at any angle, and pumps in either direction with equal efficiency. Important Note: Do not pump light fraction petroleum derivatives, solvents, thinners, highly concentrated or organic acids, as this may damage the pump.
