The Rockford Fosgate PUNCH PRO V2 PPROV2-8 is an 8-inch 4-Ohm midrange speaker engineered for high SPL (Sound Pressure Level) systems. It features a curvilinear pressed pulp cone with a multi-roll treated cloth surround for responsive output, and a pure copper voice coil on an aluminum former for excellent power handling. This speaker is sold in pairs and includes a cutout template and mounting hardware.

The Rockford Fosgate PUNCH PRO V2 PPROV2-8 is purpose-built for competition vehicles and SPL environments where maximum audio output is paramount. Engineered for extreme loudness without sacrificing durability or clarity, this 8-inch midrange speaker boasts a 75W RMS and 150W peak power rating. Its construction includes a lightweight, curvilinear pressed pulp cone with a felt ring for responsive output, and a durable, multi-roll treated cloth surround. Key components like the large 2" pure copper voice coil on an aluminum former and a high-grade ferrite motor are designed to maximize linearity, heat dissipation, and overall efficiency for louder output. The speaker also features an anodized CNC machined aluminum phase plug for improved sound dispersion and cooling, alongside a corrugated poly cotton spider and symmetrical tinsel leads for stable, linear control. Built to withstand demanding conditions, PUNCH PRO speakers utilize UV-resistant materials in the cone, surround, and frame for long-term reliability, even in sun-exposed applications. The glass fiber reinforced PA66 frame resists heat, flex, and deformation, while engineered fit frames ensure precise alignment in automotive installations. A removable motor cover is included to aid fitment in tight spaces. Each pair of PPROV2-8 speakers includes a cutout template and mounting hardware. Grilles are sold separately. These speakers come with a 2-Year Warranty.
