The Pure Turbos 991.1 Pure850 (68mm) turbocharger is engineered as a direct-fit upgrade for 2014-2016 Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S models, specifically the 991.1 generation equipped with the 3.8L twin-turbocharged flat-6 engine. This includes both Coupe and Cabriolet variants. This turbocharger boasts several key upgrades. It features a Pure Turbos upgraded billet compressor wheel and a better-flowing turbine wheel, which together contribute to increased exhaust efficiency and overall performance. The bearing housing has been upgraded to withstand higher loads and improve durability, while the entire unit undergoes VSR high-speed balancing for smooth operation and longevity. The use of an OEM turbocharger housing ensures a true plug-and-play installation, minimizing complexity. Important considerations for installation and operation include the requirement for custom tuning to optimize performance and ensure proper engine management. The turbocharger is capable of supporting over 700 WHP, though actual results will vary based on supporting modifications and fuel type.
