The Cobra PX650 is a license-free FRS communication solution engineered and designed in the U.S. It is ready to work right out of the box, simplifying team connectivity while minimizing crosstalk and interference. With maximum FCC authorized power, this radio is optimized for business environments, prioritizing one-handed operation and ease of use. Key features include a maximum range of up to 42 miles (or 300,000 sq. ft. / 25 floors), 22 channels, and 38 privacy codes to reduce interference. The VOX hands-free function allows for five steps of adjustment, enabling convenient communication without needing to press a button. Its rugged design is IP54-rated, making it splashproof and weather-resistant for use in demanding conditions. Powering the PX650 is a 2000 mAh Li-polymer battery, offering an extended battery life of up to 18 hours under typical usage (90% standby, 5% talk, 5% listen). The radio also supports swift dock charging, making it suitable for multiple shifts. Dimensions are 1.91" W x 2.2" D x 6.94" H, and it weighs 4 ounces. This FRS radio is not compatible with licensed LMR UHF radios like the Cobra Performa series. It comes with a 1-year manufacturer's warranty.
