Q 50mm Blow-Off Valve

The Tial Q BOV is a high-performance 50mm blow-off valve engineered for turbocharged and supercharged vehicles. Its robust construction features a body and all internal components CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum alloy for durability and light weight. The valve boasts a large 1.98-inch (50.5mm) diameter, significantly larger than previous designs, ensuring efficient pressure release. A Viton O-ring is securely clamped in place to prevent sticking, while the Teflon-lubricated, hard-anodized valve stem and guide provide superior wear resistance. This blow-off valve is designed for maximum flow, offering a 60% increase over the original TiAL BOV, allowing it to vent more air per cycle. It is capable of supporting an impressive 1800 HP. The Q BOV utilizes a V-band aluminum mounting clamp with stainless steel hardware for a secure, corrosion-free, and aesthetically pleasing installation. It includes a banjo-type air fitting with an oversized 10mm hose barb for quick actuator response and a high-temperature silicone Nomex-reinforced diaphragm for longevity. Choosing the correct spring pressure is crucial for optimal performance and is determined by the vehicle's idle vacuum. Options include a 2 PSI spring specifically for supercharger-only applications, and springs ranging from 6 PSI (-8 to -11 in/Hg) up to 12 PSI (-22 to -24 in/Hg). The valve also includes a weld base mounting flange, available in aluminum, mild steel, or stainless steel to mate with 2.5-inch intercooler piping. It is available in multiple anodized color options including Silver, Red, Blue, Purple, and Black.
