Description

Its body and internal components are precision CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum alloy, and it features a substantial 1.98-inch (50.5mm) valve for maximum airflow. The Q BOV utilizes a V-Band design aluminum mounting clamp for a clean aesthetic, complemented by Stainless Steel hardware for corrosion resistance. A critical feature is the Viton O-ring valve seal, which is clamped to prevent sticking and pulling out. The valve stem and guide are Teflon-lubricated and hard anodize-coated for enhanced wear resistance. The actuator is equipped with a high-temperature silicone Nomex-reinforced diaphragm for extended durability. It is capable of supporting up to 1,800 horsepower. The valve comes with a specific 8psi spring, though other springs are available for different vacuum levels, and a -2psi spring option is noted for supercharged applications.
