Its body and all internal parts are precision CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum alloy, ensuring both strength and a lightweight design. The valve itself is a substantial 1.98" (50.5mm) in diameter, contributing to its superior airflow capabilities. Durability and optimal function are key features. The valve seal is secured by a Viton O-ring, preventing sticking and accidental dislodging, while the valve stem and guide are treated with a Teflon lubricant and hard anodization for exceptional wear resistance. Installation is streamlined with a TiAL-machined aluminum banjo-type air fitting and an oversized 10mm hose barb for rapid actuator response. This Q Series Blow Off Valve represents a significant upgrade over its predecessor, boasting a 60% increase in flow rate, making it one of the highest-flowing BOVs on the market. Its robust design is capable of supporting up to 1800 horsepower. The package includes the Q Assembly, a TiAL V-Band Clamp, a V-Band Weld Flange (available in aluminum, mild steel, or stainless steel), a TiAL Air Fitting, and a High Pressure O-Ring.
