Q 50mm Blow-Off Valve

The TiAL Q 50mm Blow-Off Valve is engineered to enhance engine performance and longevity in boosted applications. By venting excess boost pressure when the throttle is closed, it prevents compressor surge, eliminates heat soak, and reduces wear on supercharger clutches and gears. This valve is the first revision of TiAL's original BV50, now boasting 60% greater flow capacity, making it the highest flowing 50mm BOV on the market. Constructed from durable 6061 aluminum alloy, the Q Series BOV features a robust 50mm valve and a dedicated valve stem and seal. It is designed for quick actuator response and can support up to 1,800 horsepower. The valve comes with a choice of spring pressures, including a -2 psi spring specifically for supercharged applications, allowing for precise tuning to your vehicle's boost levels. The available spring pressures include -2psi, -6psi, -8psi, -10psi, -11psi, and -12psi. Each unit includes a weld base mounting flange (available in aluminum or mild steel) and a TiAL V-band clamp for secure installation. Stainless steel hardware is available as an option for added reliability. The housing can be anodized in various colors due to the 6061 aluminum construction. The Q BOV bolts directly onto any standard TiAL flange, simplifying upgrades without the need for re-welding. The package includes the Q Assembly, TiAL Vband Clamp, Vband Weld Flange, TiAL Air Fitting, and a High Pressure O-ring. It is proudly made in the USA and comes with a manufacturer's limited warranty.
