Q 50mm Blow-Off Valve

The TiAL Q Blow-Off Valve represents the first revision of TiAL's original BV50, offering significant improvements in performance and flow. This 50mm valve is CNC-machined from durable 6061 aluminum alloy, ensuring both strength and a lightweight design. Its quick actuator response allows for efficient release of unwanted boost pressure, which helps to eliminate heat soak, reduce supercharger clutch wear, and prevent significant RPM drops during normal operation. The Q series blow-off valve is engineered to be the highest flowing on the market, boasting a 60% increase in airflow compared to its predecessor. This enhanced flow rate is crucial for engines producing significant power, as a single Q BOV can support up to 1,800 horsepower. It comes with a variety of spring options, including a -2psi spring specifically for supercharged applications, and other available pressures ranging from -6psi to -12psi, allowing for precise tuning to match different vacuum levels. Included with the Q BOV are a TiAL V-band clamp, a V-band weld flange, a TiAL air fitting, and a high-pressure O-ring. An aluminum or mild steel weld base mounting flange is also provided. While the body is typically anodized in various colors, stainless steel hardware is available separately for enhanced reliability and durability.
