The TiAL Q 50mm Blow Off Valve represents the latest advancement in TiAL's blow off valve technology, engineered to improve the long-term reliability of your turbo or supercharged system. The body and all internal components are precisely CNC-machined from durable 6061 aluminum alloy. It features a substantial 1.98-inch (50.5mm) valve diameter, contributing to its exceptional airflow capabilities. The unique V-Band mounting system allows for a clean installation and is secured with stainless steel hardware for corrosion resistance. Inside, a Viton O-ring ensures a positive seal, preventing leaks, while the valve stem and guide are Teflon-lubricated and hard anodize-coated for enhanced wear resistance. The TiAL Q 50mm BOV significantly surpasses its predecessors in performance, offering a staggering 60% increase in airflow per cycle, making it one of the highest-flowing blow-off valves available on the market. This capability allows it to support up to an impressive 1,800 horsepower. For specialized applications, a -2psi spring option is available for supercharged vehicles, alongside a variety of other springs to accommodate different vacuum levels. Each TiAL Q 50mm Blow Off Valve includes the BOV assembly, a TiAL V-band clamp, a V-band weld flange, a TiAL air fitting with an oversized 10mm hose barb for quick actuator response, and a high-pressure O-ring. The actuator diaphragm is constructed from high-temperature silicone reinforced with Nomex for extended durability. Full-Race recommends using soft spring pressures when Journal Bearing turbos are employed, due to their specific thrust bearing configuration.
