Q Series 50mm Blow-Off Valve

The TiAL Q 50mm Blow Off Valve represents a significant advancement in blow-off valve technology, engineered for both turbo-charged and super-charged applications like Paxton and Vortec systems. The Q series bolts directly to any standard TiAL flange without requiring re-welding, streamlining installation. Constructed from a 6061 aluminum alloy, the body and all internal components are CNC-machined for precision and durability. It features a substantial 50mm (1.98 inch) valve, which, through extensive research and development, flows a staggering 60% more air per cycle than its original design, making it the highest-flowing BOV currently available. This increased flow capacity directly contributes to eliminating unwanted boost pressure more effectively. The valve seal incorporates a Viton O-ring, securely clamped to prevent sticking to the seat and pulling out. The valve stem and guide are Teflon-lubricated and hard anodize-coated for enhanced wear resistance. For rapid actuator response, the valve includes a machined aluminum banjo-type air fitting with an oversized 10mm hose barb. The actuator itself is equipped with a high-temperature silicone, Nomex-reinforced diaphragm, ensuring long service life. Included with each unit is a V-Band design aluminum mounting clamp with stainless steel hardware for a clean appearance and corrosion resistance, along with an aluminum or mild steel weld base mounting flange. Stainless steel weld bases are available at an additional cost. The housing can be anodized in various colors, including Silver, Red, Blue, Purple, and Black. This single Q BOV is capable of supporting up to 1,800 horsepower and is offered with multiple spring options to accommodate different vacuum levels, including a specific -2psi spring for supercharged applications.
