Q50 Shockwave True Dual X Catback Exhaust

The Motordyne Q50 Shockwave Catback Exhaust System is a modular True Dual X (TDX) exhaust designed to integrate different sounds and features, fabricated entirely of stainless steel. It is engineered for maximum power gains by utilizing a combination of dual 2.5" and dual 3.0" stainless steel tubing. The primary tubes of the XYZ pipe inlets are dual 2.5" in diameter and are optimized in diameter and length to achieve maximum low-end to upper-midrange power and torque. From the midpipe muffler backward, dual 3.0" exhaust tubes are employed to route exhaust flow, minimizing resistance and yielding maximum high RPM power. This progressive expansion of tube diameter and exhaust flow area optimizes pulse scavenging while minimizing flow resistance and pressure drop, resulting in maximum power and torque for naturally aspirated and forced induction applications up to 700 HP. When integrated with Motordyne ART test pipes, the complete system design begins with dual 2.25" diameter at the ART pipe inlet and progressively expands to dual 3" flow tubes, then further diffuses to dual 2.5" and finally to 3.0". This configuration is stated to provide the highest performance with an unusually powerful and low-pitch exhaust tone. The construction utilizes back-purged and TIG-welded techniques, and the system is compatible with V-Band exhaust mounting.
