The Valair QG56DDSN Quiet Ceramic Spring Hub Dual Disc Clutch Kit is specifically engineered for G56 transmissions, aiming to minimize gear rollover noise. This kit provides a substantial torque capacity of 1400 ft-lbs and a horsepower rating of 700hp, making it suitable for demanding applications. The inclusion of ceramic clutch discs offers aggressive performance, though it may present challenges for towing compared to organic clutches. This unit is not recommended for stock trucks. Constructed with a nodular iron flywheel, this clutch ensures robust strength and reliable long-term performance. The kit comes complete with a pressure plate, two clutch discs, a floater plate, release bearing, pilot bearing, clutch fork, hydraulic kit (Hyd-03), flywheel, and all necessary bolts. Proper installation requires a 2-300 mile break-in period involving stop-and-go traffic. During this period, smooth clutch operation and keeping engine speeds below 3,000 RPM are essential.
