QR25DE Balance Shaft Removal Kit

The Jim Wolf Technology Balance Shaft Removal Kit is designed for QR25DE engines to enhance high-RPM performance. The stock QR25DE engine features a balance shaft assembly that rotates at twice the engine speed to counteract inertial forces. While this reduces some vibration, it significantly increases stress on the main bearings, especially at elevated RPMs (over 14,000 RPM). This kit enables the removal of the factory balance shaft, which can also increase oil capacity by approximately 1.5 quarts. Installation of this kit is estimated to take around 2 hours and is performed entirely through the lower oil pan cover. The kit comes with complete instructions. This balance shaft removal kit is specifically designed for use with the QR25DE engine. It fits the Altima and Sentra models from 2002 and up, specifically the 2.5L versions. However, it explicitly does NOT fit the 2007 and later Sentra or Altima models.
