QuadEGT Module & Probe Kit

The AMP EFI QuadEGT Module & Probe Kit provides professional-grade exhaust gas temperature (EGT) data for each cylinder, enabling precise tuning, diagnostics, and performance monitoring. This 4-channel thermocouple interface is designed for high accuracy and rugged use. The module features four K-type thermocouple inputs supporting common miniature thermocouple sockets. Its sealed metal enclosure is suitable for underhood installation, and it is cold-junction compensated for optimal accuracy. A selectable CAN bus termination resistor is included, controlled by a simple dip switch. Specifications include a wide temperature range of 0 to 1250°C (32 to 2282°F), 16-bit hardware resolution, open circuit and fault detection, and a fast 20ms broadcast rate for real-time data. Communication is handled via CAN bus, with direct compatibility for AMP EFI and MegaSquirt systems (including MS3Pro, MSPNP-Pro, MS3X, and MS3) through CANEGT broadcast. For other ECUs, it supports 8 configurable CAN bus IDs, ensuring broad integration capabilities. Advanced safety features for MS3Pro users include configurable over-temp warnings, the ability to add fuel per cylinder based on EGT readings for AFR compensation, and safe engine shutdown protocols to prevent catastrophic failures. The kit for 4-cylinder engines includes one Quad EGT CAN Module with harness and four 1/4″ open tip probe EGT kits, along with EGT probes, weld bungs, mini plugs, and caps.
