The Quadzilla Sneak-A-Tap (QDZ-SAT) is a purpose-built wiring interface specifically engineered to connect wiretap performance modules to the VP44 injection pump on select Dodge Cummins vehicles. It eliminates the need for cutting, notching, or using friction-style connectors, which can damage factory wiring, introduce corrosion, and weaken the connection over time. This interface ensures a clean, sealed, and non-destructive connection directly at the VP44 pump, providing a stable signal source for performance modules. The use of inferior connection methods like scotch locks, T-taps, or wire notching on the VP44 harness can lead to significant issues, including compromised insulation, corrosion points, and weakened connections. Given that the VP44 injection pump is an expensive component, the Sneak-A-Tap is presented as the correct and professional installation method to protect this investment. This device is exclusively designed for 1998.5-2002 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 models equipped with the 5.9L 24-valve Cummins diesel engine and the VP44 injection pump. It is intended for use with wiretap-style performance modules, such as the Quadzilla Adrenaline. It does not fit 1994-1998 12-valve applications, 2003+ Common Rail 5.9L, or 6.7L Cummins platforms. It is important to note that Quadzilla Power cannot guarantee that using the Sneak-A-Tap will preserve the warranty on your VP44 injection pump. Warranty coverage is at the discretion of the rebuilder or warranty provider.
