Description

SCS Professional Series Quick Change Gears are made from aircraft steel (9310 Aircraft Alloy) for maximum strength. Each gear has a shaved finish to minimize backlash and run out, is broached for proper 10 spline shaft fit, and is black oxide finished. The SCS Extra 5 step heat treating process yields maximum gear life for high-stress applications such as Big Block Oswego Super Modifieds, World of Outlaws Sprint Cars, and IROC Series Cars. The faces have been lightened to reduce rotating weight without sacrificing strength.
