QUICK CONNECT STEERING SYSTEM PACKAGE 22 FT

The Dometic Safe-T QC Steering Kit is a traditional mechanical steering system for sterndrives, inboards, and other power-assisted marine applications. It offers quick response with three-turn steering and features an easy, no-tools-required cable connection at the helm. This kit replaces all SeaStar Safe-T helms made since 1968 with minimal or no dash modifications. It is designed for single-station use and accepts steering wheels up to 16 inches in diameter with a standard 3/4-inch round tapered steering shaft. The kit includes a 22-foot cable, helm, 90-degree bezel, and all necessary hardware. It meets A.B.Y.C. standards and N.M.M.A. certification requirements.
