The SW-Motech PRO Tank Ring, part number TRT.00.787.12700/B, is a specialized adapter designed for select BMW motorcycle models that do not have factory tank screws. This system replaces the factory tank filler neck with a model-specific adapter ring, ensuring optimal positioning on the tank. The PRO tank ring itself attaches to this adapter, offering a secure and convenient way to mount SW-Motech PRO series tank bags. The design combines SW-Motech's proven QUICK-LOCK locking mechanism with Fidlock's magnetic guidance technology. This magnetic assistance helps align the upper ring of the tank bag with the ring on the adapter, making attachment a simple and precise process. Once positioned, the mechanical locking mechanism secures the tank bag firmly in place, ensuring it remains stable under all road conditions. The tank bag can be detached with a single gesture using the quick-release strap. Constructed from robust, glass fiber-reinforced polyamide with aluminum-reinforced components, this tank ring is built for durability. The design also includes a paint protection solution, as the tank bag does not come into direct contact with the fuel tank.
