The OER power steering gear box provides a performance-oriented upgrade for various 1964-1976 GM and AMC models, including 1967-1976 Chevrolet Camaro and 1964-1972 Chevrolet Chevelle applications. Built as an all-new reproduction, this unit contains no remanufactured parts and features a brand-new main casting, sector shaft, and internals for enhanced durability and reliability. Every unit is tested 100% for leaks, function, and performance before shipping. Technically, the gear box offers a quick 2.5-3 turns lock-to-lock response. It is equipped with a 7/16-inch female inverted flare pressure port, a 3/8-inch female inverted flare return port, and a 13/16-inch input shaft. Compatibility note: This part does not fit all vehicles within the 1964-1976 range, and specifically, some retailers indicate it is not compatible with specific sub-models like the 1968 442 or certain year-range Camaros outside of the 1967-1976 window.
