Description

Designed with the import performance market in mind, the Quik-Latch QL50LPBP hood pin kit delivers the push-button functionality expected from Quik-Latch Products while providing the serious holding ability required of hood pins. The low-profile design ensures a clean and unassuming look that will blend with your vehicle's overall aesthetic. Constructed from durable 6061 T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish, these hood pins offer a static pull force of 700 lbs per latch. The kit includes a 0.5-inch ball pin with a 1/2-inch fine thread pitch and a retaining ring with a 2.150-inch outer diameter. The overall height of the latch is 1.60 inches, with a height of 1.34 inches below the mounting flange. A 1.50-inch hole is required to mount the latch, and the pin itself is 4 inches long. This kit is noted as being universal and requires professional installation. The product is also subject to California Proposition 65 warnings regarding exposure to chemicals like Styrene and Bisphenol A.
