The Yoshimura R-77 Stainless Slip-On Exhaust system is engineered to enhance the performance and sound of the Honda CBR500R (2016-2023 models). This slip-on features a Works Finish stainless steel construction with a carbon fiber sleeve for the R-77 muffler. It is designed to provide noticeable gains in horsepower and torque, especially in the lower end of the power band, complementing the 471cc DOHC twin-cylinder engine. The R-77 system is significantly lighter than the stock muffler, weighing in at 5.8 lbs compared to the stock 9 lbs, resulting in a weight saving of over 3 pounds. This contributes to improved overall performance and handling. Compatibility with OE and aftermarket accessories not found on a factory-delivered bike is not guaranteed.
